— EXPORT
You have the product. RBS Export has the market.
We do not seek out generic buyers for our export-oriented products. We operate active distribution chains in the U.S. and Canada—including an importer, distributor, and certifier in each market. Brazilian producers who enter the market through RBS Export do not simply gain access to a single contact; they gain access to a structured market.

— THE CHALLENGE
Why exporting on your own doesn't work for
most SMEs
The product is there. The quality is there. What’s missing is access to the right buyer, in the right market, with the right sales approach. These three issues stem from the same root cause.
#1
No presence where the buyer is
International buyers of food, beverages, and consumer goods don’t search for suppliers on Google. They buy from suppliers they already know or who have been recommended by someone they trust. Without a local network, the product might as well not exist to them.
#2
High construction costs make the project unfeasible
Setting up an export department—hiring a manager, a customs broker, and a translator, and participating in trade shows—costs more than most SMEs can afford to invest before they see their first revenue. The financial risk rules out the idea before it even gets off the ground.
#3
First sale takes longer than planned
International purchasing cycles are long. Decisions must pass through multiple approvers. Without experience in this process, SMEs miss out on opportunities due to impatience, incorrect pricing, or proposals that do not follow the format the buyer expects.
— HOW RBS EXPORT OPERATES
We don't sell access. We operate the infrastructure.
RBS Export is not a brokerage or trading firm built around products, nor is it a consulting firm built around reports. It is a trade origination network—with established distribution channels, market-verified partners, and the ability to structure transactions that would not exist without it.
01 — Product and Market Assessment Before any prospecting, RBS Export evaluates the product, its price positioning, available certifications, and the markets most likely to generate traction. This assessment determines where and how to sell—not just where to try.
02 — Demand Validation — 90 days RBS Export introduces the product to the distribution chain and validates actual demand—price, volume, format, and positioning—before either party makes any long-term commitment.
03 — Entry into the established supply chain Once demand is confirmed, RBS Export conducts commercial negotiations and integrates the product into the active distribution chain in the U.S. and/or Canada—with the importer, distributor, and certifier already in operation.
04 — Repeat Business and Expansion The goal is not just a single sale. It is to establish a permanent presence in the market. RBS Export builds relationships with importers and distributors to ensure repeat business, increased sales volume, and eventual entry into new markets with the same product.

— THE PROCESS
90 days to find out together if there’s a market for your export
Every engagement begins with a 90-day proof of concept. It’s not a test that the client passes or fails—it’s a joint exploration. RBS Export invests time and resources, while the client invests their attention and willingness to adapt. Together, we assess whether there is genuine demand before making any long-term commitments.

The conversation before the appointment
It all starts with a 30-minute conversation with Barbara Roma. RBS Export explores the product, positioning, certifications, production capacity, and potential markets. It’s not a form or a screening process—it’s the roadmap we use together to determine whether it makes sense to move forward.
What we cover in this conversation:
1) Has the product already been validated in the domestic market?
2) Can the operation handle export volumes?
3) Are there certifications available, or is there a willingness to obtain them?
4) Is management operationally prepared to export?
What RBS Export Does in 90 Days
With the brokerage agreement in place, RBS Export begins active prospecting—mapping out markets with the highest potential for growth, identifying qualified buyers, and delivering structured sales presentations. Every contact is pre-qualified: a genuine importer with active demand and a profile compatible with the product.
What happens in practice:
1) Mapping of markets with the greatest potential for the product.
2) Active prospecting of qualified buyers.
3) Real feedback from buyers on the product, price, and format.
4) Analysis of competitive positioning in the target market.
Transparency regarding
the result
RBS Export is upfront when a product doesn’t generate enough demand. We terminate the engagement and clearly communicate what we’ve learned—this protects the client from continuing to invest time in a dead-end path. If there is traction, we guide the negotiation through to a signed order.
What determines the outcome:
1) Is there genuine interest from qualified buyers?
2) Is the FOB price competitive in the target market?
3) Is the product ready to fulfill an initial order?
4) Does it make sense to proceed—for both parties?
— JOINT QUALIFICATION
Let’s find out together if it’sa good fit for export
RBS Export doesn’t decide on its own whether to accept a product—nor does it accept just any application. The qualification process is a conversation, not a form. Together, we assess whether there’s a good fit between the product, the markets, and the right time to export.
These are the points that RBS Export discusses during the initial conversation. It’s not a list of requirements—it’s the roadmap we use together to determine whether it makes sense to move forward.
#1 Product validated in the domestic market
The product is already selling steadily in Brazil. This demonstrates that there is real demand and that the operation is structured to fulfill consistent orders.
#2 Export Production Capacity
The company is able to meet minimum export volumes without compromising domestic supply. We do not engage in small-scale artisanal production.
#3 Basic certifications or willingness to obtain them
Depending on the target market, certifications such as ANVISA, SIF, Kosher, Halal, or Organic may be required. The company must have these certifications or be willing to invest in obtaining them.
#4 Management committed to the export process
Exporting requires quick responses, flexibility in packaging and labeling, and a willingness to adapt the product to the market. The company must be operationally prepared.
What we were looking for—and what we discovered together
Food and beverages with a strong Brazilian identity, and consumer goods that stand out due to their origin or formulation. If the product has a story to tell and the quality to back it up, it’s worth discussing. Together, we’ll determine whether the timing and the market are right.
