Barbara Roma
Barbara Roma founded RBS Export to solve a problem she saw on both sides of Brazil’s foreign trade—Brazilian companies with exceptional products that were unable to reach the right international buyers, and foreign companies that ran into roadblocks due to compliance issues, the wrong partners, and structures that weren’t suited to the market.
With five years of prior experience guiding foreign companies through their entry into Brazil, Barbara brings to RBS Export the expertise of someone who has worked on both sides of the transaction. Today, she leads an active network of business partners organized by industry and market—to ensure that every transaction has the right partner in the right place.

02 — Business Screening: Product, positioning, production capacity, and certifications. We work together to assess whether there’s a good fit before any prospecting begins.
03 — Regulatory Compliance We map out the requirements of the target market—ANVISA, ANATEL, Halal, Kosher, FDA, FSIS, or HACCP—and identify any gaps before approaching any buyer.
04 — Brokerage Agreement: Scope, commission basis, and terms of coverage are agreed upon before the engagement begins. No engagement begins without a signed agreement.
